About Me.

My name is Chip Auchincloss and I am a UX Designer based in Los Angeles. I am someone who strives to find the true meaning of things and look to understand what people need. I specialize in creative problem solving and bring a meticulous and empathic approach to helping people achieve their goals by discerning a client’s needs and what they wish to accomplish.

I am highly organized with an attention to detail and have thrived in environments where there is a high expectation on performance, organization, preparedness and efficiency.

Before coming to UX, I spent nearly 20 years in the music industry as a professional Sound Engineer, Production Manager, Stage Manager and Backline Technician, working in concert audio and live production events.

I travelled the world with touring artists such as Regina Spektor, The Monkees, Sylvan Esso and Childish Gambino, while also being employed by music venues and sound companies in NYC, working live concerts and corporate events for clients such as Oracle and Regeneron.

My previous work gives me a unique skillset to bring to UX. I have found that I could offer my skills in communication, organization, and problem solving. I have close to two decades of experience in problem solving on a daily basis that required strategizing to come up with solutions, which ranged from logistical, technical and practical approaches.

I spent each day working on a crew or team, so I fully understand what it is to collaborate and communicate with a team and what teamwork really means.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time photographing graffiti and street art in NYC while also indulging in photo editing. I enjoy being in the outdoors and bicycling around the city.
